How do you get an independent contractors license?

-my husband installs radient barrier for a company and is very experience and would like to start his own business doing it. But we do not know how to go about it.The requirements differ from State to State. The best thing is find your state's department which regulates construction contractors and find out from them.



Usually there is a test and a fee involved, in addition to a general liability policy and a license bond - but they should be able to give you the information you need.
